Colton got his start writing dating profiles in 2009, when a friend approached him for help after a tough break up. She was unsure what to include in her profile, aside from her newfound comfort in late-night pizza delivery, so she enlisted Colton for help.
After a profile makeover and spontaneous photo shoot inside her apartment, the messages began pouring in. Before long, Colton became the go-to person for online dating makeovers for his single friends. All of the profiles he edited lacked the personality and charm they deserved. His friends also carried a certain distaste for online dating and a general malaise for their love life. As a result, Colton decided to explore the correlation between the two and made the leap from profile writer to online dating coach.
He's worked with clients across the country, and has single-handedly changed the way countless men and women find romance online.
